Psychological treatmet is sometimes called ‘psychotherapy’ or ‘talking therapy’.
It involves talking about your thoughts with a professional to:

- recognise symptoms of mental illness in yourself

We are committed to give supplementary training, lessons, guidance and assistance to school children and adults using effective pedagogy to stimulate them to understand the subject or lesson given by their teacher. We design and use learning activities (didactical forms) that are directly aligned with the objectives that the student must reach. We stimulate and reinforce the student to make connections between the learning activities and the learning objectives. read more

Carolina Pieters - Janer
Clinical and Health Psychologist
Cognitive Behavioral Therapist
Carolina is committed to help the members of the Aruban community with their mental health so they can become a better person in this fast ever-changing society. Carolina loves the process of helping her clients in their journey to reach a better level of mental well-being. She is a Clinical and Health Psychologist and a Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapist, with more than 15 years of experience. She is passionate about interventions that involves Mindfulness Based Approach and Art Therapy. Carolina is an active member of Colegio Colombiano de Psicologos, also an international affiliate of the American Psychological Association.

Alysha Boekhoudt

Since June 1st, 2020, Alysha has joined our team.
Alysha is a young professional passionate about Psychology. She acquired her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina, USA. At present, Alysha is finishing her Master of Science in General Psychology at Purdue Global University. During her studies, Alysha accumulated valuable experience doing her internship at Florida International University in Miami, working with children and adolescents diagnosed with ADHD. Alysha also worked at the Social Affairs Department of Aruba as an Intake Coordinator. She is an active volunteer at Fundacion Autismo Aruba as a psychologist. Alysha’s passion is to work with children, adolescents, and adults, applying Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) in her interventions with her clients.

Jose G. Mendoza
Psychologist
Jose G. Mendoza is a Psychologist who knows the fundamentals and scientific approaches of Psychology. He’s capable of understanding, interpreting, and analyzing human behavior. He possesses the skills to evaluate and act in individual, group, and community settings; ethically, with a critical and investigative sense, and social commitment. Jose achieved a Psycho-spiritual Care specialization at Institucion Universitaria UNIBAUTISTA (Cali, Colombia), and advanced training in Logotherapy and Existential Analysis at the Sociedad para el Avance de la Psicoterapia Centrada en el Sentido (SAPS), accredited by the Viktor Frankl Institute. Jose has been assisting clients in varied environments (clinics, corporations, hospitals, schools, churches, and doctor’s offices), providing psycho-spiritual care.
